This product is Air-8 liquid aeration.
Folks with smaller lawns have wanted to ability to purchase a single gallon and we have worked hard to be able to make that available. Also available in quarts.
We break the pricing down for you even more lower down in the description - in the meantime, here is what Air8 Liquid Aeration is all about:
N-Ext Air-8™ Liquid Aeration is designed to break up and loosen topsoil, increase water penetration and encourage deeper rooting to drive more oxygen into the topsoil profile.
Now available in single gallons.
Liquid Aeration Bio-Stimulant
Here's one thing we know: aeration is good for the soil. It opens things up and allows air, water and nutrients to penetrate deeper.
Here's another thing we know: 95% of homeowners cannot or will not rent a mechanical aeration machine. It's quite the hassle even to go and get it, especially if you don't have truck to get it home in. On top of that, it's quite the workout.
Now there is a much easier way to get the benefits: Liquid Aeration.
When you apply liquid Air-8 and water it in, it dives down into the soil breaking bonds between molecules which creates space. Every bond that is broken creates more space (aka greater soil surface area) where grass roots can then spread and grow.
This also pulls down moisture and carbon since humic acid is also included in the mix. If you have hard, compacted clay soil, Air8 liquid lawn aeration is an excellent alternative to the butt kicking you get from mechanical aeration.
It's a good idea to have some soil moisture present before you apply so water the lawn the day before you apply if you are in a dry season. You should also water in liquid Air8 after you apply.
The recommended application rate is 9 oz per 1,000 sq ft.
1 gallon = 128 oz
At the app rate of 9 oz/1,000 sq ft, you will get:
- 14,222 sq ft of coverage from a single gallon
1 gallon of Air8 (this listing) costs $32.99 (includes shipping)
This is due to shipping rates. Carriers charge less "per pound" for heavier weights in a single box compared to lesser weights in a single box. To put it simply, shipping is on average cheaper for 4 gallons than for a single gallon by weight.
If you only need one gallon, you are still getting MASSIVE VALUE!
Still Better Value Than Competitors
There are other suppliers of liquid aeration products charging $34 -$40 for a small, 32 oz version of their liquid aeration.
We are charing $32.99 for a gallon (128 oz) of our liquid Aeration and they charge $34-$40 for a quart (32 oz). We wanted to point this out because we always strive to deliver value at an affordable price for our customers. #DIYfirst
